I have listed a selection of races which are either just events for juniors or more often senior events which also have some junior races. Where the senior event is six miles or less and the organiser has indicated that older juniors (often over 16 but sometimes over 14) can enter I have also included some information about the senior race. Entry is usually on the day but please refer to the “2009 FRA Calendar & Handbook” on www.fellrunner.org.uk/2009races.htm to check the full details.

Please note that anyone under 18 must have the signed consent of his/her Parent or Guardian on the entry form to enter any of these races.

This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of events providing races for juniors.
