Annual General Meetings
In common with all other Limited Companies the FRA holds an Annual General Meeting. All FRA members are invited to attend, and may vote on any resolutions presented. The AGM is held in the Autum for the previous year. The formal business of the AGM is to approve the reports for the year in question, to approve the accounts, and to appoint new Committee members. The necessary arrangements for the AGM are documented in the FRA 'Articles of Association' (on the Documents page of this site).
The Committee normally tries to make the AGM relevant in interesting to most fell runners, by holding it in association with a fell race, allowing time for a general discussion on fell racing and perhaps having an invited speaker. If possible a 'drop-in session' will be held prior to the meeting, and refreshments may be served.
A formal announcement of the date and location of the AGM will appear on this site.
Management of the AGM is carried out by the FRA General Secretary (email)
