Members will know of the very sad situation where Darren Kay is still missing after failing to return from a run on Madeira at the end of last year.
Darren has run many races and competed at the highest level on the fells. He regularly participated in the Hutton Roof Crags Fell Race, being the winner a number of times, most recently in 2022, when on the revised course he set a new record.

The FRA is consulting it's members on alteration to the British Fell Running Championships format proposed by the UK Athletics Mountain Running Advisory Group (MRAG). The MRAG proposal for alteration to the Championships format, with reasoning, is provided alongside this consultation for our members consideration.
