The 2023 English and British Championship races have now been announced.  Dates, as always, are provisional, so keep an eye on the English and British Championship pages on this site.

ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP RACES FOR 2023

The English Senior Fell Running Championships are organised by the Fell Runners Association and sponsored by Pete Bland Sports and Inov-8.

Eighty entries already in. If you have a child (or grandchild) in Years 7 or above then maybe they would like to represent their school at Giggleswick in just over two weeks time for the English Schools Fell Running Championships, proudly sponsored by Pete Bland Sports and Bridgedale Outdoor. Each runner will receive a commemorative beanie hat and there are medals at stake for the first three boys and girls in each age group.

Can all 2021 English Championship trophy winners please return their trophies to either Pete Bland Sports, Kendal, or Nic Barber, before the end of October, so they can be engraved ready for presentation at the 2022 FRA do in Sheffield on the 26th November.  See how to do that.....

For any clubs still planning to enter the British Athletics Fell and Hill Relays on 15th October, we (Carnethy HRC, the organising team) will be starting to approve entries from the start of September, since we know that a lot of you will be eager to start organising transport and accommodation.

The Junior Do (click for info) will be on Saturday 10th September at Sedbergh.  There will be a guest speaker, an orienteering course, sports-day games for both parents and juniors and of course buffet lunch and prize-giving.  Please let Gareth [email protected] know if you're coming.
