As many of you will know, UK Athletics is introducing changes to junior age group competition in 2026, moving from ‘odd’ to ‘even’ year bands. The aim is to better support athlete development and help retain young runners during GCSE and A-Level exam years, when many currently find themselves at the top of an age group.

Well done to all Juniors who have raced in the series so far. Looking forward to a great event at Tebay this weekend. It's not often we have junior and senior champs races on the same day. Thanks to RO Nic Barber for taking it on.
