Do you ever find yourself unsure of the route on the fells? Would you like to improve your navigation skills? If so, sign up for the FRA navigation course in Elterwater on 26-28 September. You'll learn the basics of navigation and have plenty of chances to practice your skills over the weekend. Information and the application form are on the FRA website at this link.

As part of the Skiddaw Restoration Project, Cumbria Wildlife Trust is looking for some people to become seed collectors. They thought a lot of fell runners may be interested in the seed collector role or training as they spend a lot of time going up and down Skiddaw and across the Northern Fells.
