Flower Scar - 19 Feb - reroute and early start

Due to Fallen Trees and environmental issues on the usual race route, Flower Scar Fell Race will be taking a slightly shortened route this year, avoiding the forest area completely.

As a result of this late route change, the navigation section will be scrapped and the route will be fully flagged throughout for this year only. Route details will be posted on the Todmorden Harriers website ASAP and a link to the new route can be found below:

 An early start of 10:45am is also being implemented to give every runner the best opportunity to make the 1:15pm cut off at checkpoint 6. Full FRA kit will be required for all runners and a buff will not be accepted as a hat. Map and Compass compulsory andextra race food highly advised. This is a winter race so there is a strict No Kit, No Run policy.
