British and Irish Junior Mountain Running Champs, 3 Sept, Ambleside.  This is the Junior (U20 and U17) Home Countries International, but is also an open race.  Details here.

World Mountain and World Trail Champs selection races, 9 and 11 Sept.  Juniors (U20) and Seniors.  Details here. 

The following races are offered for selection for National teams.

1. British & Irish Junior Mountain Running Champs on 3rd September in Ambleside (U20 and U17) - this event is a Home Countries International but, as the British Champs, is also an open race. If any newcomers are considering doing the GB&NI trial the following week for the World Champs in Thailand it would be a good test!

2. Selection races for World Mountain and Trail Champs on 9th and 11th September (champs 3-6 November in Thailand). Senior uphill only and up-and-down races. (Senior up-and-down race is also British Mountain Running Champs). Junior up-and-down race. Info here:
