The county of Cumbria is going all out, for the second year running, to help shape a young cross country or track runner of the future, through the award of a running bursary established in the name of the late great, Pete Bland.

Unfortunately, the organisers of this year's Harden Moss Sheepdog Trails have taken the decision that the event will have to be cancelled. (The race was supposed to take place on Saturday 22 June 2024.) The show field and the surrounding area is waterlogged and as the forecast is for the continued rain all week, conditions are unlikely to improve before next weekend.

Don Ashton Memorial Tockholes fell race is unfortunately cancelled this year due to the circumstances out of the organiser's control. The race was supposed to take place on the evening of 4 July 2024. Apologies for any inconvenience. The race will be officially amended as 'cancelled' in the list of FRA races of this website in the due course.
