FRA Outdoor First Aid Course

The FRA are keen to promote greater safety in our races and for fell runners in general, and runs the FRA Outdoor First Aid Course. It is aimed primarily at fell runners who are race organisers, coaches, marshals or FRA members with some responsibilities for fell runners and their well-being.

Automatic spots go to:

- Those finishing in the top 20 M senior and W senior 2023 English Championship;

- Top 5 M/W V40/45; Top 3 M/W V50+ 2023 English Championship;

- All U23s with 3 or more scores from the 2023 English Championship.

Recently, representatives of the Fell Runners Association (FRA), Welsh Fell Runners Association (WFRA) and Northern Irish Mountain Running Association (NIMRA) have come together to jointly discuss and work towards a policy on transgender eligibility in fell/mountain racing categories.
