English Fell Running Championship Races 2025

The English Senior Fell Running Championships are organised by the Fell Runners Association and sponsored by Pete Bland Sports and Inov-8.

Dates are provisional and will be confirmed in the 2025 Handbook. Weekends are set, days within weekends subject to change.

FRA Presentation Dinner and Do 2024

The 2024 FRA Do will be hosted by Pennine Fell Runners on Saturday 16th November 2024 at Torr Vale Mill, New Mills, Derbyshire.

Tickets are now available for sale on SI entries and can be purchased until 9^th November. Details are available here: link

Individual category winners (who are FRA members) will receive a complementary ticket - details on these will be sent out in due course.

To make a weekend of it, local Races on that weekend are Padfield Plum Fair Scamper (near Glossop) on the Saturday, and a Peak Raid from Edale on the Sunday. Saturday's Full Tour of Pendle may also be on the way for those travelling from further north.

Can all 2023 English Championship trophy winners please return their trophies to either Pete Bland Sports, Kendal, or Nic Barber, before the end of October 2024.

Guaranteed Entry List

2025 FRA English Championship Guaranteed Entry list is now open to FRA members.

Automatic spots go to:

- Those finishing in the top 20 M senior and W senior 2024 English Championship;

- Top 5 M/W V40/45; Top 3 M/W V50+ 2024 English Championship;

- All U23s with 3 or more scores from the 2024 English Championship.

Requests for addition to the 2024 English Championship Guaranteed entry list is now open. Please fill in the form here: https://forms.office.com/e/39YzERfdBC

Please complete by 5th January 2025 for inclusion in time for entries opening for Edale Skyline (list will remain open after this point on a more ad hoc basis). Confirmation of acceptance to the list will be made in late January 2025.

About the English Championships

"When registering for English championship races, please ensure you include your English Athletics running club. If you are not in such a club, please ensure you otherwise record yourself as a Fell Runners Association member, (assuming your membership is up to date), so that you are included in the competition tables.
