Joss Naylor's Order of Service and a kind request to share more stories and memories

What a wonderful day at Wasdale Head on Friday 19^th July to say farewell to the legendary Joss Naylor.  I estimate that there were around 1000 fell runners gathered in the field behind St Olaf's Church and know that many were not able to get a copy of the lovely Order of Service, a pdf copy of which is here (Joss Naylor's Order of Service link).  I was very proud to be a part of the fell running community who really stepped up to give our friend the sendoff which he so richly deserved.  A truly memorable day.

 

There is nothing about Joss' life and achievements that has not previously been written but the FRA want to mark his passing and so I am inviting any FRA members who have funny stories to tell, or personal memories, to submit them to me (preferably with a photo please) at [email protected] and we will compile them into a "Collection of Memories" to be published as a supplement to the Autumn Fellrunner.
