The FRA and Ms Heaton have been in discussions to resolve any differences between each other. Following these discussions, both the FRA and Ms Heaton recognise the importance of fairness to all parties involved in FRA disciplinary processes and of ensuring confidentiality is maintained so far as possible for both those who have made complaints and those subject to complaints.

 

As part of its ongoing commitment to good governance, the FRA will undertake a review of its disciplinary process to ensure it continues to reflect the high standards expected of the organisation.

 

With both parties having now exchanged a series of undertakings, and in recognition of her long-standing service to the FRA, the FRA has agreed to remove reference to her disciplinary sanction from its website with immediate effect.
