Cancellation of Turner Landscape Fell race - impact on WMRA Mountain Running World Cup selection

New updated England Athletics Mountain Running Team selection information.

The Turner Landscape Fell race (8th August 2026) has been cancelled for unforeseen circumstances, this was due to be the second selection race for the England Athletics Mountain Running Team to race in Italy.

Due to the late cancellation, we are asking athletes that are interested to email an Expression of Interest, which is to include mountain and trail race results this calendar year, current form and any other relevant information.

Please note the closing date for expressions of interest is the 1st August 2026. The new selection date is the 3rd August 2026.
